DO NOT VACCUM!!!

Before you act, read the
Mercury Cleanup Guidelines.

Mercury is an element that is found naturally in the environment and is commonly used in many consumer products.   It is also a potent nerve toxin that can affect human health.

It is important to carefully manage these products to prevent accidental release into the environment and to protect human health.

The Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services Mercury Program is designed to provide education about the dangers of mercury exposure, as well as to assist Nebraskans with information about mercury spill cleanup and disposal of mercury-containing items.
